BEFOREAFTER

Drag to compare — the area behind the text is rebuilt, not smudged

What people remove with it.

Deleting text works best when the words sit on top of a background — subtitles, date stamps, promo labels, watermarks on flat or gradient areas. Here's where it shines.

[ CAPTION ]

Subtitles & captions

Strip burned-in subtitles or meme captions from a frame and keep the picture intact.

[ STAMP ]

Date stamps

Old camera timestamps in the corner of family photos disappear in one click.

[ WATERMARK ]

Watermarks you own

Remove your own watermark from an original you lost the clean copy of.

[ REUSE ]

Design cleanup

Clear promo text off a banner so the artwork can be reused for the next campaign.

Questions, answered.

How does AI text removal work?

Detection finds every text region, then an inpainting model rebuilds the pixels behind it by studying the surrounding area. On flat and gradient backgrounds the patch is seamless — it's reconstruction, not blurring.

Will there be a smudge where the text was?

On screenshots, posters and other text-over-background images, no — the fill matches the surroundings. On heavily textured surfaces like fabric or glass, some softness can remain; the brush tool with a tighter stroke usually improves it.

Can I remove watermarks?

The brush erases anything you paint over, watermarks included. Only remove marks from images you own or have permission to edit — that responsibility stays with you.

Is my photo uploaded somewhere permanently?

No. Processing happens in memory, nothing is written to storage, sessions clear within 24 hours, and your images are never used to train anything.

Do I need an account?

Not to edit. The full remove-and-rebuild flow is open; a free Google sign-in is only asked for at download time.

What image types are supported?

JPG, PNG and WebP up to 10MB. Oversized images are scaled to 4096px on the long edge before processing, and exports come back at that processed resolution.

Can I also replace the text instead of just removing it?

Yes — after erasing, click anywhere to add new text, or use the main editor to click-and-retype existing text with matched size and colour.
